Never Bet On a Unicorn

Whether you are betting on win, place, or show, there is one important thing you should know. Anyone with enough sense since the day they were born, would never place a wager on a unicorn. If you are at the racetrack to spend the day, this is the number one thing I will say: In any of the races from one to eight, betting on a unicorn would not be too great. Even if the jockey has a successful reputation, his winning should not be in anticipation. If unicorns are racing, cross them off your list. The simple reason why is they do not exist.

Robert, that last line is the worst news I've had since I heard that Santa Clause didn't exist! I always thought that if a unicorn did exist and was in a race, I would bet heavily on him because what horse in their right mind would want to be in front of him?!! : ) enjoyed the reverie
