Never Been Miles Apart
We have never been miles apart
You've always inhabited my heart.
With you I have no reason to roam,
In your warm embrace is my home.
I see stars in the apple of your eyes,
With you, my heart feels like paradise.
I don't think I have a reason to return
to the tempting bridges I had to burn.
I have lost things I will never find...
but those things I have left behind.
I want something I will never lose;
you are the one I decided to choose.
