Never Be the Same

Losing at the game of life
With nothing but pain inside
It's an uphill battle that I can't hide
When losing you I sat down and cried
Time after time I see your face in my mind
I tried to hug your memory but there was nothing to find
Growing up we drifted apart
I never said goodbye
But your still in my heart until the day that I die
As a child I dreamt to escape my world
I keep on dreaming because it's an ice cold world
I drink the bottle cause It's all the same
When somethings gone It'll never be the same
