Never Be Enough

Come to me... Hold me,
Fill this empty void...
Make it stop,
this awful ache.
Give me more and more,
but it'll never be enough.
Come, fill this empty void with love,
Smother me with affection,
cover me with kisses,
assure me with promises,
but it'll never be enough.
Hold my hand,
tell me you love me...
but I promise you...
It will never be enough,
to fulfill my addiction.

Love is beyond us, graciously allowing us to take a sip of it's essence, but like your poem shows, you can never be full enough.

An addiction for love! I hope you'll find the right person to shower you with deep affection, enough to fill the empty void and change that ache into a promise of delight:) ~ Regards // paul
