Never Annoy a Woman Who Carries a Pointy Sword

Never annoy
A woman
Who carries a pointy sword
made of copper or aluminium or zinc

and if it is encrusted with
rubies and emeralds, figure
she has some knowledge of it,
and will wield it gladly in your direction
and often

She who can assert herself with
her champion armour and her pointy
sword, probably has the best life already

If she wants to include you, she might
but until you are summoned, and with a smile,
run away lightly, in tip-toe fashion, for a woman
who carries a pointy sword will not hesitate to strike.

Smile. Chuckle. I looked up and saw my two foot by three foot painting of a warrior woman carrying a pointy sword and the caption says "Never annoy a woman who carries a pointy sword. She who asserts herself has the best life." It was one of my first paintings five years ago, and she has purple hair and green eyes too.
