And when the rain comes pouring down
and drenches to the core,

This is beautiful. If the love is referring to the Love of God, you might want to capitalize love. Because God is Love and capitalization Is reverential. I very much enjoyed this worshipful piece. It’s important to be aware that regardless of circumstances we are never alone.
