Never Again
Come lay down with me
Let's snuggle awhile
You've grown into a woman
Beautiful just like your mom
Those words she'll always remember
They repeat in the back of her head
So do the actions taken place
The placement of his hands
She was just a woman child
Not yet fully grown
He stole something special
Left it shatter and torn
She needed protection
From the one who was protecting
What a twisted way to think of life
From a childs prospective
Now she's all grown up
Daughters of her own
Never will this happen to them
Never will they ever be left all alone
She'll teach them that not everyone
They know can be trusted
Even the ones they hold in their hearts
The ones who are supposed to be closest
