Never Again

I do not sit at my table anymore not because it is old and battered I do not want to sit alone where once my chairs were full. I do not look into the mirror anymore not because it is old and cracked it holds a truth I fear I shall not look upon my vanished youth. I do not open the window anymore not because it is rusted shut I once went outside into a bright sun now i fear the noise and seek solitude.

What lovely verses of contrast dearest, Julie! As your grandfather would say " The sea either calm or turbulent the same depth it has! Huge hugs xxx
