Never Again

Never again, she vows...

         Never again, will you pull a wool...
         over my eyes. I'm nobody's fool.
     Never again, will you string me along.
 I refuse to dance to the tune of your song.

       Never again, will I believe your lies.
    I see them clearly written in your eyes.
          Never again, will you reel me in...
       now I know you wear a second skin.

      Never again, will I take your abuse
I refuse to tolerate it. I absolutely refuse!
         Never again, will I cry over you.
          It's your turn, as I bid you adieu...
