Never a Bride
I’m not like all the other cards
Here in this old deck
I haven’t got a partner
My life’s a total wreck
I saw two bathing beauties
And even two doughboys
Two doctors and two lawyers
And two kids with their toys
Two cowboys and two cowgirls
Two kings and two queens
Two of almost everything
And everyone it seems
If you’ve got two, you’d like to hold them
If one, you’d like to trade
But pray that you don’t pick me
You don’t want this Old Maid
For Paula Swanson’s contest – pick a card
