Never

I don't know what I want,
sanity or nomalicy, perhaps,
touch and soft words,
the never happening happenstance.
The glance and your smile,
memories twisted with dreams.
But I am only a reflection,
she is the real thing.
I don't know what I want,
but I know it won't happen,
no matter what desire it may be.
My dreams are tossed away,
my tears are never ending.
The soft words, kind and sweet
always for her and not me.
