Never

do you see?
that little smile on her face
how her eyes light up
when she see you
her face portrays the thoughts
bubbling in her mind
and the feelings erupting in the bottom of her heart
roaming every part of her body
controlling and conquering
do you see?
how she stares at you
desires your attention
your love
do you see?
the small tear
that runs down her cheek
when you ignore her
when you cancel another plan with her
do you see?
how she loves you?
did you ever stop?
stop to see how much she cared
did you ever hear?
hear the truth in her words
did you ever feel?
feel the truth in your own words?
did you ever mean anything you said?
did you want to hurt her?
was this all a game?
do you see her tears?
do you see the pain you caused?
no
you never saw
never stopped
never heard
never felt
never cared.
never
and never again will she
let herself
get hurt.
and never again will she
give her heart
to someone who
will never care.
never.

Such a sad piece. The emotions here are so well expressed pain, hurt, sadness, and anger. Your words brought tears to my eyes as I imagine a child begging for her fathers attention though he hasn't the time. Great writing. Peace, Love and Light be with you always...Smiles (through my tears)from Lolita
