I think that I shall never see the love that I long for in thee,
I wait in silence, I wait in tears, I will sit and wait for thee right here.
 
I fear that I shall never hear the words that I want for from thee,
I wait in silence, I wait in tears, I would sit and wait for thee for years.

I think that I shall never be the love that I yearn for thee to be.
I wait in silence, I wait in tears, I will sit and wait for thee right here.
