Nether Nether Land

first last and always
                        to be conquered

                     the breeding ground

I wonder if the tables have perhaps turned. This causes one to think as to who is the conquered.

A matriarchy is not a hierarchy, you have no need to fear ;),

A thought-provoking poem, MM! As long as happiness lay there, then it's the right ground for commitment. Very cool poem! Love and peace forever.

Maureen I've read every recent poem you've written, and every now and again, go back and randomly pick a page of yours and then read a poem because the title makes me curious; but I have to say, and I hope we can have an open discussion, I'm not sure what this poem means. Is it about people intermixing genetically? For I think it was Orwell that said, first remove their history. Then compare religion with yours that is more superior. Lastly breed your own society. It's faster than evolution.

I was musing about the nether region as not yet completely discovered land and the control over women's bodies. This wasn't quite the poem I set out to write, muses are funny that way, and Orwell isn't far off either. ;),
