Neptunes Mermaid Meditation

NEPTUNES MERMAID MEDITATION

With sceptre in hand – crowned—underwater enthroned
King Neptune absorbed as aquatic muses reflect the moonstone
Mysterious, mischievous—long meridian tresses entice
Mother-of- pearl, fish-tailed multi-formed, misty vice

Mythological, enchanting underwater innocence disguised
Benevolent, bestowing beneficial misadventure, compromised
Perilous floods, storms and shipwrecks-- drowning of lovers
Their musical murmurs mesmerize- as murky moisture covers

Odyssey --mistakable striking attractive form-- femme fatale
Captivating voices beckoning sailors, mirrors and combs-- lure and impale
Neptune meditates in his Mediterranean splendour
Holding court, entertained, in Oceans depths—ultimately to surrender
