Neptune’s Limericks
I captured her glamour with my eyes
her beauty left no guise or surprise
with blue eyes and green hair
she would swim with a flair
and so wise what the mermaid devised
she would live beneath the ocean floor
to sea friends of her inner core
her mythical appeal
my envy of her zeal
to reincarnate with her allure
