Nemesis

I think every one has that mortal enemy,
that foe that know you best,
who creeps like cancer,
into your innermost sanctum,
an opportunist viper waiting.

Waiting to shatter you serenity,
into tiny shards,
even in the solace of your dreams,
waiting to tear you back,
to an unfriendly world.

It's time for this tyranny to end.
It's time to take the power back.
I'm gonna smash that bloody alarm clock.
