Neither One of Us Satisfied

Sex, a Smile, and One Hundred Words,
would we ever get deep or would I keep
guessing, will he love me or only see me
should I stay or keep walking, we sit, we go out
we text and we laugh. One "lol" after another
but I wanted something real, something close
would he ever understand or would I continue to
be broke
He wanted sex and I wanted none, he got none and
I wasted time for I wanted him as a friend
and he wanted me for satisfaction but
in the end we would be left dry,
Without each other.
