'You are like a hurricane There's calm in your eye And I'm getting blown away' (Neil Young Like a Hurricane’) his friends had given him their version of the weather report gale force winds flood warning thunderstorms and destruction she has done it before is a dreamer addict and rides on a broom close the shutters put a log on the fire and check the drain pipes their advice sounded hollow for when a hard rain’s a gonna fall blowing in the wind may be the better option than dying inside he had no time for torrential tears and sounded the depth of her soul filled with emotions as he searched for Atlantis at the shore of her eyes mesmerised they made love in the beach hut of smooth drift wood lay on sea grass and pebbles and embraced dolphins and star light her broom was a sceptre of kindness and wielded naked compassion passion and lust like a hurricane steadied their minds and cohabitation calm and tranquil they glowed like the moon waxing and waning as they sailed on pleasure love joy on winds and growth of change the roof leaked but did not halt a wild wet and magical passage of time surrender fulfilment and reincarnation of forgotten treasures jellyfish sea-horses peace doves and a circling gull gave their blessing shouted as by law of nature you must spread your wings and fly high sand caressed their skin and ground away sadness sorrow and doubts and the beacon of freedom watched over intuition courage and tides 'Take him by the hand Make him understand The world on you depends Our life will never end' (The Doors Riders on the Storms) 23rd October 2020

Hello Kai, I enjoyed the poem. Neil Young is my fav. singer. the song I enjoy is harvest Moon. This is a different version of Neil Young. enjoy your day my friend.
