Neighbor

I wanted so many times to stop At her house and be company to her But I was fearful. Scared she wouldn't know me And would be afraid of me. I'd see her standing on the porch And would wave. She'd wave back Not really recognizing a neighbor. I regret my silly fear now She left her place one day walking And no one has seen her since.

Yes! This brings back memories. I'm still wondering about that girl I was going to ask to lunch, that blond girl who worked at the doctor's office. Congrats on the selection. daver

Sad story. Sometimes the things we didn't do are more difficult memories than the thins we did. Thanks for this one. I'm going to visit my aunt. I've made excuses for years. Vince
