Aroused by denial,
Disturbing thoughts prevail,
Wishing reprisal,
Hostility unveiled.
Sharpened words uncover
The mask in place.
Extreme emotions hover,
Seen in your face.
Venom grows inside,
Feeding the fire,
Where poison resides,
In the skeptic’s lair
