Need You, Need You, Need You, Oh, How I Need You

3am
at apart of a bridge of life
can't take the changes
can't make the ranges
gotta be at work in an hour
the water is your soft lips seducing me
gotta get that guarantee
gotta inspire my sanity
away i go
i am still free falling
it is so petty, but you are the heartbreaker

midnight next day
i am found floating at the base with a smile
the discoverers do not comprehend the sweet sunshine
the detectives do not piece together the ultimate attraction
had to taste the sweet juices of equality
had to sample the other end of a forward motion
had to re-experience the explosive net of wonder of my elusive butterfly
away i went
i am still going in circles
the distinction felt so friendly, but cupid's angel arrow really cookes
believe it or not, i am right where i wanna be, oh incandescent sweet freedom

This poem delves into the tumultuous emotions of love and longing, capturing the push and pull between desire and despair. The repetition of "Need You" emphasizes the depth of the speaker's yearning, while the imagery of free falling and floating reflects the disorienting and consuming nature of their emotions. The poem paints a vivid picture of a heart caught in the throes of passion, where even pain becomes a paradoxical source of freedom. Well done Marty!...Frank
