Need a Job

Need a Job

I’m just a young man trying to make it out here

Struggles and danger I’m trying to steer clear

Just out of high school, baby on the way

Oops, I was in love what can I say

My girl is always crying we gotta take care of the baby

She says it’s definitely yours, not a maybe

I’m trying to present and represent myself to get this jam

Chillin out thinking of all the times in school

I didn’t do my best and oh dam lacking in skills I am

Trying to complete this paperwork for 7.25 an hour

Definitely not a job of power

It aint easy to get this jank

Experience, education I have to leave blank

Driving on fumes thinking of a plan

Gotta be a man can’t grandstand

That won’t put bread in my pocket

Still trying to avoid being on a court docket
