'Neath a Mean Desert Sun

     I hear it from everyone
        Time stops for no one

Though it slows to a crawl
        'neath a mean desert sun

You have been to the Southwest... ? It is true. I'm like "Yay, June is on her way, the sun's hot breath is blasting already, come what? May!" Sorry, we are all poets here, and I mustn't refuse the muse :) Hope you understand my quick inspiration inspired by your poem as well as experience! But truly, sometimes I sorely miss New York, especially this time of year.

Yep, it seems time goes fast when you want it to go slow and vice versa.

You're right on the desert sun. I felt the heat.
