Near Perfect

Some say I'm conceited
Well that just simply isn't true
But you are so near perfect
I even wish that I was you

If you come a little closer
A little just might rub off
Some might even roll their eyes
While pretending not to scoff

But that's not me, I understand
That perfection's hard to achieve
It only comes, to those who know
They are what they believe

Yes, you are so near perfect
And getting closer as we speak
I don't know how you do it
It would make my knees grow weak

And now you're very near perfect
A close as you can be
You're standing right beside it
For the perfect one is......Me
