Navigating Through Life's Highway

Navigating through life's highway, It’s more than what meets our eyes, It takes courage to break through dawn's ice, We can’t preempt all we see. We find our feet on its mystery lane, We seek shelter from the rain, Life shows us its different faces, Not minding our unique races. The way we chauffeur our cars, It determines how far we can go, It underscores our mileage, Often we forget we're on a pilgrimage. Life's highway undulates and meanders, Only a few along its way endears, Courage keeps us on track, As we sojourn for the glory mark. Navigating through life's highway, Conquering the invisible, Sketching out the visible, Until the perfect picture is attained. January 21, 2023. Pick-A-Title, Vol. 34 Poetry Contest, Edward Ibeh.
