Carole Duet Poet Rhyme

Naughty Angels

Poem guns in hand
we stand ready
to write those poems
that will spin your “heady”.

Sexy adjectives describe nude nouns.
Risky adverbs put dull verbs down.
Smoking pistols shoot sharp rhymes
at fake poets who commit word crimes.

When we win we strut our stuff
like hot chicks who can’t get enough.
When we receive those N/A’s
we pick ourselves up and laugh for days.

So look out Soupsters! 
Here the Naughty Angels come
brandishing words of innuendo 
from our poem guns.
