Nature's Way

"AS THE MISTY MOON RIDES HIGH"
Hoots from hungry owls' echo through the valleys 
With the morning sun half awake 
A bran new day opens eyes 

Surviving through another night 
Chipmunks, squirrels, possums, and hare 
Play joyfully- until the sun sinks... 
And the owl hoots again 

One less hare- but three new baby kits 
Jump out from their nest, next morn!  
With the mist just about to ride high again 
SWOOP!  Breakfast at Tiffany's...for Mr. Owl

Aww... so sad but true. So sad, so sad... but so true. Breakfast for the owl. It is just one more thing in nature who shows us all - the music beneath surviving, just surviving it seems brings out the instincts in each of us. It is life. Just life.
