Nature's Grins

a fawn stops, stoops to drink

from a pond, fresh and clear,

            such graceful creature of art,

with a flea behind its ear!

nearby, a green lizard creeps

'neath a leaf, thinks it's hidden,

                         its tail dangling glossy green,

                                       still sure it is unseen!
