Notes About The Poem

Nature’s Gentle Call

A quiet stream begins to flow,
Where gentle, tall green grasses grow,
It whispers tales of long ago,
The world is wrapped in peaceful light.

The morning mist begins to lift,
A simple and most lovely gift,
As sunbeams through the trees do sift,
The world is wrapped in peaceful light.

The wildflowers begin to bloom,
Dispelling all the morning gloom,
Leaving no space within the room,
The world is wrapped in peaceful light.

So let your heart be light and free,
Embrace the beauty that you see,
For all of life’s sweet mystery,
The world is wrapped in peaceful light.

there's something that's calming about embracing nature....taking the time to notice as you did and then to express in words made this poem another favorite of mine

Here, where the mind gently lingers for the heart to beat its sweet medley.
