Nature's Expressive Winter Wonderland

NATURE'S EXPRESSIVE WINTER WONDERLAND

As Summer gives way to cold Winter days
The first snow of the year begins to fall
We watch in awe and the wonderful ways
The children build a big sturdy snow wall
And from its protection lob a snow ball
They play with glee until their mother's call

We sit and watch the children laugh and play
As they toss their snowballs at all their friends
Or glide down the hill riding on their sleigh
We watch as they are flashing joyful grins
And wishing that all the fun never ends
The joy and pleasure a new snowfall sends

But the day finally comes to a close
So it must happen as everyone knows

Hey, Darlene! What a neat response. I recall my children doing this when I was stationed in Illinois. Merry Christmas, dear friend.
