Nature's Beauty

In the early morning crisp air
fallen cherry blossoms lie
layers of pink petals
create a soft velvet blanket
upon the colourful ground
as you step in floral wonderland
inhale the sweet scent
as fragrance hangs
upon the cool breeze
a heavy intoxicating perfume
that calms the inner soul
finding peace in nature
on your morning stroll.

Hello Phyllis ... a nice poem reflecting on a peaceful scene. How do you keep the starlings away from the cherry fruit. Even a net has problems - thank you Phyllis - Lindsay

We do not grow cherries here as the growing season is not long enough. They grow in B.C. where my brother lives. Now the raspberries I have to put a net over them as the birds dive and swallow the berry. Thanks Lindsay. love phyl

The cherry blossoms are so beautiful and the fragrance so strong. Getting strong winds and snow today. Howling outside and hearing the house creaking from the wind. Have a great week Judy. love phyl

Cherry blossoms are so beautiful that it's a pity they have to fall. Lovely poem, Phyllis! Hugs, Carolyn
