Nature Pays No Attention
Safe spaces are not those modern places
determined by human hands
and by human minds separated by concrete and steel
from the sacred cosmos of nature.
Nature pays no attention to our finite minds and thoughts,
nor to ideologies made up and stuffed inside our secure four-sided boxes.
The life force that creates and animates the plants, animals, mountains, oceans, planets, stars, and galaxies
calls to us and we have forgotten how to answer.
