Nature At Sunrise

On a run through nature
nature at sunrise.

What do my eyes behold?
a cascade of color glow
across the sky as the sun
Begins to rise.

A spectacular event that
beholds the presence of my
eyes.

Nature at sunrise says goodbye
to the night time as the moon fades
not so much go away but stays in place
just barely visible to the naked eye.
as the sun steals the spotlight during the day.

Leaves that fall from the trees play tag as the early breeze
the wind blows them about in every direction.

Deer squirrels and all creatures of the woodlands
greet the day in their natural way.

Anxiety and stress melt away as I inhale exhale
reflect that yes to witness nature at sunrise I’m
truly blessed.
