Bizarre landscapes are her asset Her green lungs, the bushes and trees But the pristine form in a threat Streams and rivers, vessels of blood Dropped levels and going to freeze Became shallow with gathered mud Roaming wildlife, her lovely mates Who will be their caring trustees? Their extinction leads to debates Weather patterns with their U- turns No symptom of a pleasant breeze An issue with lots of concerns The earth goes hotter. Need two suns? Torrid waves with surging degrees Gift them not to our loving ones Where the saturated clouds gone? Mounded like the huge chunks of cheese Hopes have already been withdrawn The music of earth never stops Where the symphonic sounds to please? No tunes of songbirds from the tops No sights of twinkling butterflies The kids run after them and tease Dried landscapes visible to eyes Verdant mountains with running brooks Seemed to be hit by a disease Lost legacy and regal looks El Nino makes things upside down Not a right time to feel at ease Almost a self-imposed lockdown Melting glaciers, sliding ice-rocks Treat not as a playful cheek squeeze Create commotion at the docks Great life in the sea and on land Remember taking care of these They have the same rights. Understand! Man isn't the sole proprietor Flatter not of your expertise Behave not like a rioter All living things may file a sue An avowal of man's mores pay the due weightage to their view Wait not for others to revamp Please rely not on guarantees As the dweller, leave your own stamp Awake! Alert! Proffer your best Join hands to rebuild and reprise Create a heaven for the rest. Place: 1st
