Nature

The arial creatures sing to a symphony of freedom

Flying about, no destination in mind

The leaves sway from side to side

Crunching under the force of the wind

The flowers blossom, showing their true colors

Bringing about nothing but beauty

The sun radiates its beams

Sending down life to all creatures

The clouds tell a story, expressed in a charade

Nature is a beautiful thing

Yet this beautiful thing is not appreciated

Day to day we rush on with our lives

Not taking that moment to stop

Stop and admire the world around us

We are too distracted by material items

To understand that the greatest pleasure of all is at our feet

We don't acknowledge the smell of fresh air

We don't take the time to gaze upon the meadows, intake the colors

We aren't enchanted by the world of animals

Two worlds living in harmony aside one another

It is all taken for granted

Nature is our base

But it won't be here forever

Cherish the moments you have with it

And stay intact with it

Hi Alex, i love nature, and you are right we should never take it for granted. She is our base. I love the beauty she holds, every thing deep and truly better than all material things I own... Thanks for the deep poem... LINDA
