My Dear Rhyme Time Friend! Such vivid imagery flows from your gifted pen capturing Nature's transition from winter to spring with temperamental beauty. I love the snow snarling (without much effect though.. more like a tiger without teeth!) at the sassy darlings of spring. Snowdrops personify perseverance and new life in such a splendid and striking way. I used to pick bunches for my mom on my way home from school from a sunny little patch of a neighbors garden on the first warm days of spring.. a treasured memory. My dearest Rhyme Time Friend - Poetry Sis, your message is like spring bursting into my winter weary heart! Thank you for that blessing. I treasure your words like I treasure the little snowdrops in pots at my front door as they signal the rebirth of nature in the coldest, darkest part of winter. What a wonderful memory of gathering these courageous little flowers on your way home from school. I am so happy that this little poem brought those happy moments back to you. Your mom must have loved your sweet, thoughtful gift just as I love your sweet and thoughtful notes. Asters and now snowdrops! We are truly building a beautiful friendship garden!
