Native American Proverbs

All Native American proverbs honor the greater good
She is....
A society that reveres her elders
A tribe that honors the ideas of children
A community that recognizes the wisdom of her women
Tell me again why we are trying to indoctrinate her with our religions?

OH, is that ever a great question, Caren. Here's a possible answer: Could it be, could it just be, that most religions are male-governed?! lol. ~ gw

Well-said, my friend. I have often wondered the same thing, and why do we persist in mistreating them? Have you seen the film "At Play in the Fields of the Lord?" You'd really enjoy it, if you have the opportunity. It's from several years back, but always relevant.

Nice touch, if you have a chance read Luci St. Clair Robson's - Walk in My Soul on a native American Woman.
