We are in tornado alley - Kansas, but not worried. We live in an earth-sheltered home which we built for this weather. I like this one.

A terrible tornado, have family there, but they're ok. Well done.

Hi Gershon, That is so unfortunate for the people that live there. The only tornadoes I’ve seen was on tv-Alexis

So true Gershon. The weather is so powerful and the harm it can do, is sad. I hope you have a nice evening :)

We underestimate the power of mother nature sometimes and the devastating consequences of its actions. So tragic so many lost their lives. Tom

It doesn't take much to shake the thin, protective veneer from civilization and return us to the wild. Thanks, Tom.

An apt description of the capricious and random destruction of weather forces, and their devastating effects. Great poem, Gershon! :)

Your comment summarized the effects of a tornado so well. It's prose, but elegant as poetry, I think. Thanks, Evelyn. Best always, Gershon
