Narratives

Narratives have allowed the real me To come forth without hesitation My soul is exposed for all to see I have nothing to hide Nothing to be ashamed of A simple soul who loves life and love Even with all of it's ups and downs And it's scary uncertainties Love still comes shining through I am not unique We all have it within us or we couldn't survive This driving force that keeps us going The ultimate goal is and has always been love There is no purpose without it So I say to you all Purge yourself of doubts and fears The answer is oh so simple Love... sweet love! © Jack Ellison 2014

Ah! Like Dragon, Both your hearts and souls are all out there. Are you sure, you're not a Dragon? Dragon thinks you are. And his super Hero to boot! Grandpa Troll says if you're not, Then he's considering calling one of his brothers to go give you a Dragon egg! That's a RARE privilege not bestowed on just anyone. How about a nice ice Dragon that throws ice, instead of fire?... Or Grandpa Troll thinks you'd make a great Santa when this one retires... Bet your kids would love that one... LOL

Although I don't consider narratives poetry in the true sense of the word, people seem to relate more to them that the quatrains that I've written forever! Go with the flow I guess is the way to go. XOXOX
