Naked In the Snow
When we make it to hello
waiting in a better place
only to find the ramblings
of next door and awake
and wide-mouthed and
over and over it's reoccurring
she smiles only for only
and always I always begin
to understand a little why.
Showing us the stillness
because we ask to see.
Vast beyond believing in
chance by chance where
almost is almost born
up-side down and kicking
until we uncover ourselves
under the street lights
of the city of perpetual
changing into a fairytale.
Coming and going with
the goings and comings
where ever all over
Heaven bound to say:
"Goodbye."
