Nails To the Heart
"Nails to the heart"
I dived in with both feet,
I stripped naked for the night to see,
I took a bet with my soul,
I gave away the key to my thoughts,
You saw the shame within, you took the pain away, you made life easier!
And for once l felt good, it was the tender kisses, the sweet letters...
Until.....
All the colors of the rainbow faded away like bad memories to a mind at peace.
Never thought life was cruel, so cruel it stabbed me silently........
