Mythical Beings Ii

Prowling eyes in the dark
Lit with the flames of hell
Seek fear crippled souls
To feed on with razor sharp fangs

Clad in the shadow of death,
It howls from the Hillcrest
With saliva drooping from its jaws
And talons dug into the ground.

Eyes fixed on each side of its head
And legs soaring above the ground.
It  resides in the moon,
Watching and waiting.

The day of reckoning is here,
Its name has been forgotten
Yet the beast of Nigeria
Will roar once more.
