Mystic Moonlight

Mystic moonlight

Gone to this mystic moonlight fair,
          Gone to this twilights sympathy,
For hidden from a shadows touch
          Remains the stars serenity

But accepted words are born to thee,
         When sunset steals in,
And remains the mist that slipped away
And the worth of our own morality

Gone is this mystic moonlight fair,
         Gone where twilight’s bond,
Lost forever in this passing night
         Hidden in our life’s embrace

                        By m.n.

So much emotion flowing in the poetry I am reading this morning of both seasoned poets and new poets. I am happy I was able to read your poetry today Mark. Have a wonderful day and I will be back soon to read more of your writing. Love, Carol
