Mystery Ii

Ancient beyond knowing,
spirals of information
float in on a frothy tide.

With shades of the rainbow
the whelk shell preens
enclosing its gastropod guest.

Where did they meet
to become this symbiotic star
of eons before mind?

Hi Sue, short, sweet and "full"....... lovely ! I shall post all my poems under "free verse".. to be honest I just write, I learnt years ago in art school that the study of art ( in this case writing ) can be detrimental; so I prefer just to write... this is no criticism of those who unlike me are not lazy..... but I will brave any critique... and stand on my individuality... Da Vinci was just a painter until the critics came................
