Mystery

I want more of what I cannot get enough of
There is this longing
Yearning
Craving
Wanting
Depth and void that seem to be continually empty
No matter how hard I try
I feel like I am missing something

Something exciting
Yet cannot figure it out
Something so tasteful and sweet
Yet I cannot have a taste of
Something so powerful
Seemingly going to be wonderful
Yet, so hard to figure

For how long shall I this longing last?
For how long shall I crave this mystery?
Or you will forever remain a mystery?
What exactly Are you?

Mystery. This poem is relatable. There are certain moments in life when we kinda feel empty and void. Like, something is missing. Something inexplicable. But we go on and keep believing, anyway. Also, the rhetorical questions raised in the latter part of the poem are insightful, and could serve as grounds for reflection and discovery. A brilliant one. Kudos.
