Mysterious Night Sky

As we stand looking up from planet Earth

observing Milky Way so many stars

some fade, die, some gracefully dance with mirth,

our moon reflects, shines bright, silhouettes mars

Through eyes full of doubt, curiosity

seduced by such beauty of the unknown

Universe so diverse, infinity

that's Unexplored, is Pluto our milestone

or could humanity be just destined

to isolation like Jupiter tombed,

Venus no saviour, no hope that's combined,

Planet Earth our home though it may be doomed,

mysterious night sky with your treasures

supplying us with hardships and pleasures.

Thanks Jan, as usual I'm never sure if I have got it right and it's a relief to get a comment from an accomplished poet as you, thanks again for your support and encouragement. Roy. :))
