Mysterious Night
MYSTERIOUS NIGHT
Mysterious night: I am cold.
You wrap me with sable beauty.
A coquettish crescent moon catches my eye.
I can’t help but stare, up into the spectacular sky.
So far away, far beyond the trees.
Mysterious night: I am cold.
It is your light that draws me,
As firs and pines surround me.
Mysterious night: Hold me tight.
Coldness frightens my bones.
A funeral spread of black shirts and dresses.
A star lies down on her covered bed.
Mysterious night: I am cold.
Oh hold me tight, mysterious night.
