Myself and I

Something in my brain Has driven me so insane That I thought, without you in my life Why keep the will to fight Or stand up for anything at all? I had slipped fallen Fallen on the ground, So quietly, it did not make a sound. You could hear me though Whispering in the silence of my hot mess While he watched me get undressed, I was in distress Then he slipped off my dress, And lied and told me he loved me again And I believed him until the end, But I am stronger now, No one to lean on but myself, So I let the sun beat down upon me Suddenly, I start to feel happy I start to feel free This must be what it feels like to be me, I am so happy to finally be set free I would never want to be anyone else but me;
