Myriads of Umbrellas

Myriads of umbrellas like I’ve never seen floating upward brilliant red, yellow, pink and green. Many happy thoughts must be in the springtime breeze, or bright hope could not ascend high above the trees! Opened up, hope shelters us from the rains of gloom. Losing sight of happiness would be mankind’s doom. Peace and love must guide our thoughts so we might see rise myriads of umbrellas through all earth’s blue skies! In 7/5 Trochee, rhyming style poem Written 2/26/2014 by Andrea Dietrich For Visual number 4 shown in the SYMBOLISM : THE UMBRELLA Poetry Contest of nette onclaud

Love this "ditty" Andrea. I just think the title phrase, "Myriads of Umbrellas" is pure genius. It is fun, expressive and unique. That one phrase should be the title of the picture your choose to write about. Nicely done. Joe

Nice thyme scheme! Why are umbrellas needed if it is such s bright day? Are the umbrellas a metaphor for something? Check out my comic book poem! Peace & Love Matthew Anish

Feet in the mud, trouncing in the rain. Without umbrella's we'd all just go insane. Like chinese torture, we'd surely lose our joy. So open them up bright and beautiful, every girl and boy. You have a beautiful umbrella Andrea. Peace. :)
